As of February 2023, I have been 60 years in the brewing and beverage industry design, manufacturing, installation, and technical support. Prior to that, I served a 5-year student apprenticeship in manufacturing and marine engineering. Key points in experience are being a member of the development team for the Sankey keg systems and beer flash pasteurization systems in the UK from 1963 to 1979, running the worldwide installation and service for the same from around 1970 to 1979, and from 1979 as COO & VP of the North American business of APV Burnett & Rolfe, Inc. and subsequently for APV Rosista, Inc. for 11 years prior to starting IDD Process & Packaging, Inc. (IDD) in 1990 as President & CEO. Notable achievements of IDD since its inception, have been the development of keg and flash pasteurization systems for the craft beverage industries, custom process and packaging equipment for the MillerCoors and Molson Coors groups and since 2012 our craft brewing industry High-Efficiency Brewing Systems (HEBS) mash filter brew houses which have brought a new dimension to craft brewing efficiency and beer style versatility for which North American craft brewers are internationally known for.
