It is that time of the year again!! I can't believe it either, but I am stoked.
Each year, District Michigan, sponsors an award for its members known as the “Peter Blum Memorial Scholarship”. The award is an extension of our mission as a member chapter of the MBAA: furthering the education of our members. We feel that by helping to increase the brewing technical knowledge of our membership, we can have a positive effect on the brewing industry in Michigan. Due to the close relationships that exist between the MBAA, brewers and industry vendors, we are reaching out to ask for your help in supporting this award.
The winners of the awards will attend one of the three brewing, packaging or engineering courses offered through the national MBAA organization in Madison, Wisconsin. (Have to be present to win)
In order to raise money for the awards, we annually hold our MBAA District Michigan Summer Social at Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge, Michigan. This year’s event will be held on Saturday July 9th. 2016
The cost of your ticket will get you some amazing BBQ, Michigan beer, hang out with some super cool people. Not to mention you can participate in disc golf, corn hole, 50/50 and a beer swag auction. If you have anything to donate to the auction, please bring it with you and give it to a board member.
Remember to bring your camping chair.
