The 2017 Hop Field Day, held at the Niagara College Teaching Brewery, attracted 65 attendees from the brewing industry for a day of education and engagement. Presentations included insights from Albert Witteveen of the Ontario Hop Growers Association on climate challenges and the introduction of the BrewON logo, alongside Evan Elford from OMAFRA discussing government-funded projects aimed at pest management and the cultivation of historical hop varieties.
