We've used Timothy Taylor (A-69 I believe) from BSI in our English styles to impart a little bit of a jammy character alongside hops intended to complement that character. We've used First Gold and Triple Pearle shooting for generating something with a bit of an orange marmalade character in our dark mild specifically, and that seems to have worked well. It's subtle but there. Maybe an english strain like TT with some Belma or Barbe Rouge would get you in the ballpark? It will be lower on the intensity scale though, so might not be right for the project if you're looking for a strong and dominant strawberry jam character.

Subject: Yeast Strain - Strawberry Jam Character?
Hi Brewers,
Do any of you have a recommendation for a Yeast Strain that will create a strawberry jam like characater in a brown ale?
Thanks!
