We're looking for a wastewater filtration solution at our 10,000 bbl/yr brewery and would like to know of any experience a similarly-sized brewery may have with this. We're sidestreaming aggressively, pH-adjusting with an automatic system and settling in a 4000 gallon tank currently, which gets us to what we think is a very reasonable level of solids, however we are being asked to achieve "zero settleable solids". We're seeing between 1 and 4 mL of solids per 1L sample of our wastewater. We are in no position to build a full wastewater treatment plant and would like to find a reliable solution to allow us to process up to 40 GPM when discharging to sewer. We'd prefer to not have to add an additional tank to our process, but if a relatively small one is necessary we can certainly find a way to fit it in somewhere.
