Hey all,

I'm trying to source seats for all my butterfly valves. My 1.5"'s were easy enough because we have plenty of spares, I took em apart and sent the seats to my gasket guy. I don't have that option with my  2", 3", and 4". The valves have no identfying markers, the manfacturer of the vessels these valves came with (brewhouse, HLT, etc) is out of business and I don't have a contact. 

Any helpful tips, suggestions, guidance would be much appreciated.

I know too well how difficult it can be to source replacement gaskets and valve seats especially when you have used equipment and/or several different manufacturers.  I've found that most of my suppliers are pretty helpful in finding replacements if I reach out to them.  I'm not trying to support one business over another but I've found that brewerygaskets.com Butterfly Valve Seat has a wide range of different brands and has been good at helping me match mine if I measure it first.  Also their descriptions have dimensions of everything.  The other factor is the material, is it epdm, silicone etc.  If you find a few that look like they might work and still aren't sure, maybe buy one of each and then see which works best, then you'll know what you need next time.  Good luck in your search.  Cheers

Have you checked out brewerygaskets.com? If you don't see it on the website contact Dwight, the owner. He can usually get valve seats for pretty much any model valve.

Do you have pictures of the valves and/or the seals that you can post?   That might help someone identify them.   I'm always shocked at how many sanitary equipment manufacturers don't put their names on the stainless components and/or the wear parts.   Even large worldwide companies often don't mark any of their valves, sight glasses, check valves, etc.

The ones with the black & stainless handles look like Cipriani Harrison valves. If you are replacing the gaskets with EPDM they are very tight when new.

I guess I should have prefaced that Dwight at Brewery Gaskets is who I've been working with. He's helped me with the 1.5's & 2's I've sent his way. Struck out with the 3 & 4's. I attached some photos the some valves that have markings and some that don't.
