I was wondering what the consensus is these days on new hose integration. Is pickling still the way to go? Any other methods people use that produce good results?

    Thanks!

We just had a hose manufacture come out and give us a best practices and safety training on the use of brewers hoses.  This specific question was asked and he said pickling is not required.  Just clean it with your normal cleaning process for the rest of your equipment.  You may want to check with your hose manufacturer but the gentlemen laughed at the question as it seems to be an old idea that is not needed.

    Thanks for the Reply, Jeff.

This is the consensus I've been getting. I did finally get a hold of the Manufacturer directly and the rep said he had never heard of this, Pickling. So. Out with the old, in with the sensible.

    Cheers!
