With respect to: "Food Safety Bite to learn the need-to-knows of common preservatives in beer,".

I am surprised by some of the chemical sanitizers that are listed under this title of "common".

Question: are these things that have crept into the sphere of beers as people have begun producing beer-adjacent beverages; and not investing in pasteurization and sterile filling capabilities ?

During my 45 years of brewing in North America and overseas; I've never come across these chemicals in any beers.

As I say, I am curious where this is coming from. cheers !
