Reuse of champagne yeast after mead fermentation

    Hello,

    I use bentonite for clearing mead, can you harvest yeast if it has bentonite in it or does that compromise yeast health?  On the mead note, I primarily use champagne yeasts, do they respond well to harvesting?

    Any insight or a point in the right direction is greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
