We're happy to announce the Pine and Palmetto Conference Scholarship.
Both the Master Brewers Association of the Americas and District Carolinas are founded on the principles of promoting, advancing, and improving the professional interest of brew and malt house production and technical personnel. Each conference, webinar, and course is an opportunity for members to further their understanding of our craft with industry leaders. Creating a scholarship to remove the economic barrier to education has long been a goal of the District Carolinas leadership team and we are proud to announce TWO scholarships in 2026!
Recipients are selected by the District Carolinas Scholarship Selection Committee. The following criteria must be used to award the scholarships and have been designed to give the committee maximum flexibility in bestowing the scholarship. The committee will consider applicants who exemplify the philosophy of the MBAA through their passion for excellence, diversity of thought and expertise, and industry leadership. The scholarships are limited to active MBAA District Carolinas members who live in and work in the Carolinas. However, MBAA District Carolinas elected leadership such as Board of Governors, President, Vice-President, and Treasurer, or family members of the scholarship selection committee are not permitted to receive the scholarships.
