We brew a lot of lagers, so looking at moving from wet to dry.  Opnions on Fermententis 34/70, or other recommendations.

    Cheers

34/70 is what I use, I like it. I re-pitch between my international lager and my czech pilsner with good results.

We use 34/70 for our core lagers and it's been great for us. It's reasonably forgiving. It will throw some sulfur late, so it needs time to blow that off.

I uave used 34/70 for many years as my lager strain. It is a workhorse. Ferments clean even at warmer temps. Good flocculation.

If pitching from dry it does have a longer lag phase than some of the other fermentis products.

If treated properly i have pushed this strain to generation 10+ without any noticeable change in characteristics.
