Members are set up to get notified of posts to My Community by default and have the opportunity to eliminate or add to the posts that are sent to them via email - see below I have attached a document that describes how to modify the settings
The district Community automatically emails all members of the district. The default notification setting is Daily Digest, so anything posted in the district community would hit district members' inbox at the same time as Ask the Brewmasters posts. However, each user sets their own notification settings, so they could receive posts in real time or as part of a weekly digest instead, according to their own preferences.
