St. Louis District

Your District St. Louis Officers are committed to building upon our rich history and heritage and continuing to improve our alignment to the overall vision of Master Brewers.  That vision is that "we strive to be the globally recognized knowledge authority in brewing science, technology, and operations-dedicated to the concept of United We Brew".  With this vision in mind, we have undergone a thorough review of various best practices, benchmarking with other districts as well as the recommendations put forth from the National District Health Task Force which members of our District have participated in.  As a result of this review,  we've realigned our leadership roles and responsibilities to these best practices which we believe work best for our district, ultimately providing more opportunities for District member involvement.  We are excited to bring these changes with a call for nominations for the various Officer and Chair positions.

Officers:

• District President
• District Vice-President
• District Secretary
• District Treasurer
• District Board of Governor's Representative

Chairs:

• Technical Chair
• Membership Chair
• Scholarship Chair

 To effectively serve as a District officer and/or chair we are seeking individuals who are:

• Able to attend all District meetings in person (with few exceptions) to connect and engage with our District membership
• A current member of MBAA and District St. Louis
• Employed in the brewing/fermentation or a supporting industry
• Passionate about growing and supporting our local professional brewing communities through relevant and well-presented technical content and opportunities for networking and community.

We will keep this nomination form open through the 18th of September, at which time the current District St. Louis Board will review nominations and put forth the slate of officers to the membership which will be voted on at our October meeting.  If you are interested in serving the District, but not sure exactly what role, please feel free to reach out and we can discuss the various opportunities available.
