What a great turnout at our District meeting last week! We had some familiar faces and several new ones as well! Thanks to everyone who attended.
To add to this update, there are a few additional items (attached) for member review.
1) The nominating committee presented the slate of officers for 2022-2023. The BOG will vote to approve the slate at the October BOG meeting. Additionally, Honorary Lifetime Membership for Charlie Bamforth was unanimously approved and a call was issued for two volunteers to serve on the nominating committee.
2) After more than a year of discussion and hard work, the District Health Task Force presented their recommendations, which are attached. Please take the time to review them because once the changes are approved, we will see changes to our bylaws which would be implemented across all district. The report focuses heavily on making changes to required officers, term limits, voting & elections, and defines the role of the BOG Representative. If you have any questions or feedback, you are most welcome to respond to this thread, or shoot Florian or me a note
by July 20 so the feedback can be passed along to the District Health Task Force.
