Cellar Hand Job Opening

- 21 years or older
- able to lift 60 pounds
- able to stand for up to 8 hours a day
- enthusiasm for fermentation, agriculture, microbiology, chemistry, and/or manufacturing
- basic geometry and algebra knowledge
- prior food/beverage experience (preferred but not required)
- cleaning (the biggest bulk of work that happens in cider production is cleaning. everybody cleans every day)
- fermentation (receiving and inoculating juice from press partners, monitoring fermentation)
- packaging (canning line, bottling, filling kegs)
- inventory management (shipping and receiving materials, distributor orders, etc, inventory rotation and monitoring)
- lab work (organic chemistry profile on juice and cider samples, microbiological QC/QA monitoring)
- sensory monitoring (participating in tasting panels for quality control and product development)
