Our brewery is located in South Easter Indiana.  Are there any testing labs I could take some packaged beer to, to test for DO?

Brewing and Distilling Analytical Services does a great job, we've used them before, but they're in Lexington which I'm guessing is too far for you. Mailing samples is a viable option for most testing a brewery might want done though, and is the route we took. You might also be able to get help in Bloomington - either from a bigger brewery like Upland, or the University there.

That said, I'm not an expert on DO, but depending on what you're looking to get out of testing, you likely want the testing to be performed asap. Your best bet (and cheapest option) might be to find a local brewery who has the necessary equipment to test wort/cans or maybe bring a portable meter to your brewery for a day so you can dial things in a little.

    Steven,

If you are willing to drive to Cincy we could test for you at Rhinegeist. But like Chris said, DO doesn't last long before oxidizing. So we will need to measure within 8 hrs of packaging. Ideally the sooner the better. Shoot me an email at cole@rhinegeist.com and I can connect you with our lab.

Thanks Chris for the response and advice.  Ye I should look at IU, actually never thought about them.  I actually have some good contact at Purdue due to an other part of my professional life so could also reach out to them.  As you pointed out DO needs to be tested soon after the packaging process as it can dissolve quickly, which I completely forgot about.   So both Westside and Rhinegeist have offered to help me with testing and each are only about 45min drive from our brewery.   So I will try to coordinate with them one a day I am canning.  Thanks again for reaching out.

    Cheers
