Ask The Brewmasters

Hey fellow brewers, anyone have a kettle vent fan manufacturer that they would recommend? Ours is on the fritz and we're having trouble getting replacement parts so I'm just investigating other options.  Our current model is a Cincinnati Fan, axial mounted, stainless inner components, belt driven with exterior motor.  It would be nice to keep the same configuration, just looking for some manufacturers that people have used and liked.  Thanks!

Hey Brian,

We have Tjernlund's Model 1 installed on our kettle for nearly a decade, replaced the motor once.  Its been a solid investment.  Not sure what sizing looks like on both sides, happy hunting.

I'll echo Dan's comments about Tjernlund. We've had a number of their exhaust fans installed on our brewhouse for almost two decades. With regular maintenance, they're pretty bulletproof, in my experience. I hope that helps.
