Business Meeting Minutes
Date: January 16, 2025
Location: Anheuser-Busch Tour Center - Lager Room
1. Call to Order
The meeting commenced with President Florian Kuplent's absence. VP Kristopher Scholl called the meeting to order and warmly welcomed all attendees.
2. Financial Update
Nick Erickson, the Treasurer, presented an overview of the District's current financial position.
No issues were raised during this update.
3. Board of Governors Update
Bob Griesedieck, the BOG Representative and former President, shared recent updates from MBAA Headquarters.
He highlighted national MBAA initiatives and governance updates.
4. Committee Updates
Kristopher Scholl, the Vice President, provided updates on the Technical Committee, the Scholarship Committee, and the Membership Committee.
Technical Committee (Co-Chairs: Bill McFarland and Mark Jaeggi; Members: Jose Pizarro, Stone Fisher, and Jonathan Moxey) is actively developing programming for the entire year.
The Scholarship Committee (Members: Becky Fallon, Steve Huffman, and Kristopher Scholl) currently has an open chair position. They are working on developing local Brewing, Packaging, and Maintenance short courses and plan to offer scholarships to support member attendance.
A new national Packaging Light scholarship has been announced, and its application requirements will be added.
The Membership Committee (Chair: Open; Members: Derik Reiser and Dwight Garrels) has no new reports at the moment.
They are seeking volunteers to serve on the committee.
5. Volunteer Opportunities
Kristopher Scholl encouraged members to consider volunteering for open roles, particularly those that align with their interests.

7. MBAA National President Update:
Presenter: Molly Browning, MBAA President
- Presented MBAA's updated Mission, Vision, and Core Values
- Reviewed outcomes of the October 2024 Strategic Planning Session
- Emphasized the importance of volunteerism and professional development
- Promoted the "1 Cup of Connection" initiative, encouraging members to invite a non-member to an event
8. New Officer Transition:
- Announced and welcomed the 2025 District St. Louis Board:
