We recently acquired a new brewhouse, and it does not have any climate control. The brew deck has been hot! The space is about 1500 square feet and houses the brew system (15 BBL, direct fire) as well as the fermenters and brite tank. The glycol chiller is located outside. We have 4 garage doors and an exhaust fan (which we run during brewing) which allow for plenty of air flow. We're scoping a AC unit. We have originally envisioned a mini-split unit with a couple heads, but our engineer encouraged us to consider an indirect evaporative cooler (specifically, a Seeley Climate Wizard). We're located in the Front Range of Colorado which usually has low relative humidity.

None of us has any experience with the indirect evaporative coolers (which are different than typical swamp coolers), so wanted to ask here about any advice, or better yet hands on experience with these two options.

    Thanks in advance!

Perhaps a bit DIY, but we strapped up a small fan and a misting wand (like what you might have in your backyard) on the deck that the brewer on duty can turn on and cool off in front of.

Well, that would be much better than what we have now!
