Caribbean District

Hello MBAA District Caribbean member,

On behalf of the Master Brewers Association, we want to thank you for being a valued member! Over the last year, we have reviewed our districts and had to make some difficult decisions.  We as an organization, strive to make membership an engaging and educational experience through meetings, technical webinars, and other forms of member involvement, both at the district and national level. A few districts unfortunately did not meet certain involvement criteria to benefit its members. We are not aware of any local meetings, appointment of new officers, or attendance at our board meetings by a Board of Governors representative consistently for the past several years. Due to this inactivity within District Caribbean, a difficult decision has been made to dissolve the District. 

We hope that you'll continue to be a member of our association through one of the following ways:

              -Join an active neighboring district

              -Join our active Independent District

Please reach out to headquarters to make any necessary changes to your membership, such as joining a different district.  With no response by October 16, 2023 your membership will automatically transfer to the Independent District.  Please note that if you have District Caribbean as an additional District, but already have another district set as your 'home' district, District Caribbean will simply be removed from your list.

If you know of members in your area who would like to volunteer to reinvigorate the District and stay active, please reach out to MBAA staff or myself.   Details on required District Officer positions and responsibilities can be found on the District Resources page.
