Sad news out of Herbiery today. If any of you have been thinking about a small taproom in Madison, this space would give you lots of foot traffic. Hi All,
It is with a heavy heart that I bring some news from Herbiery to the group. We are needing to sublease our taproom space. I was never able to realize the projected, necessary revenues with the taproom and self-distribution to reach viability or break even. I am looking for a brewery that would like to sublease the taproom space for the remainder of the lease term. A brewery would ideally be willing to purchase used equipment and largely keep the space as is. I am attempting to sublease without the assistance of a broker to avoid brokerage fees. Attached is a listing for the sublease, would you all be willing to share widely?
