Hi,
I've been looking into using the Enzytec Oxalic Acid quantification kit from r-Biopharm. I have a technique question regarding the purification kit (product code E2250), and I'm hoping someone here might be able to help. There's a step in the procedure in which you place the samples in a water bath to boil. What is better to use: plastic conicals or glass tubes? And is it better to have tight lids, loose lids, or no lids? I'm concerned about glass breaking if the lids are tight. But I'm also worried about inaccurate results due to evaporation and/or condensation from the water bath if the lids are not tight. Have any of you figured out a reliable procedure for this? Any advice/wisdom would be much appreciated!
