It's with heavy heart that I report the passing of Dr. Yueshu Li, Director of Malting and Brewing Operations at the Canadian Malting Barley Technical Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
If you attended a Malting Course at CMBTC, you certainly appreciated Yueshu's gentle spirit and sense of humor. He was a great teacher - always willing to answer my many malting questions.
He was with CMBTC since 2000 being a founding member and its first employee.
We at New Glarus Brewing with miss him dearly. Our prayers are with his family and the entire CMBTC team.
