1) Call to Order & Welcome
President Scholl called the district business meeting to order and reviewed the agenda, including financial update, BOG update, committee updates, volunteer opportunities, upcoming events, the 2026 officer slate, and new business.
2) District Board & Committee Chairs (Current)
The current District St. Louis leadership was presented as follows:
- President: Kristopher Scholl (ABInBev)
- Past President: Florian Kuplent (Urban Chestnut)
- Vice President: Rob Naylor (ABInBev)
- Treasurer: Nick Erickson (Power Motion)
- BOG Representative: Bob Griesedieck (Griesedieck Bros Brewery)
- Secretary: OPEN
- Technical Committee co-Chairs: Mark Jaeggi (Sabhailteacht Solutions) & Bill McFarland
- Membership Committee Chair: OPEN
- Scholarship Committee Chair: OPEN
3) Treasurer's Report / Financial Update
Treasurer Nick Erickson provided the district financial update:
- Under budget on District Operations and over budget on Technical Programs; scholarships remain under budget with one recipient and increased interest earnings; operating reserves stable; and a 2026 budget proposal to be prepared for District Board review.
- Balances:
- 01/01/2025: $44,411.48
- 10/19/2025: $43,041.52 (revenue from the October 2025 meeting not included)
4) National / Board of Governors (BOG) Update
BOG Representative Bob Griesedieck reported the prior BOG meeting was held September 16, 2025. Officer installation is scheduled for Saturday, November 15 (9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.) at the District Carolinas meeting.
5) Committee Updates
Technical Committee: Mark Jaeggi (Chair), Jose Pizarro, Jonathan Moxey, and Bill McFarland; continued work to build out full-year programming.
Scholarship Committee: Members include Steve Huffman and Kristopher Scholl; chair remains open. Short-course scholarships available; requirements include district membership at time of application, a ≤500-word letter, completion of a 9-hour course, and a recap to members within 12 months.
Membership Committee: Chair remains open; members listed include Derik Reiser and Dwight (last name not shown in slide text). No new report.
6) Volunteer Opportunities
Members were encouraged to volunteer, with emphasis on filling the Scholarship Chair role and supporting district committees.
7) Upcoming Meetings & Events
Upcoming events were reviewed, including November 13 (Shop Talk), December 5 (Holiday Party), January 15 (Annual Winter Meeting), plus additional 2026 dates (Shop Talks and Annual Meetings) as listed in the meeting deck.
8) 2026 Officer Slate / Election
The 2026 District St. Louis Board nominations were presented as:
- President: Kristopher Scholl (ABInBev)
- Vice President: Mark Yocum (Anheuser-Busch)
- Treasurer: Nick Erickson (Power Motion)
- Secretary: Nick Mills (Anheuser-Busch)
- BOG Rep: Bob Griesedieck (Griesedieck Brothers Brewing)
- Past President: N/A
Vote: The officer slate vote passed.
9) Adjournment
With district business concluded, the meeting transitioned to the technical presentations and dinner.
