1. Call to Order
- Meeting called to order by Kristopher Scholl at 4:33 PM
- Participants present: Kristopher Scholl (President), Rob Naylor (VP), Nick Erickson (Treasurer), Bob Griesedieck (Board of Governors), and district members
2. Secretary's Report
- January meeting minutes distributed electronically
- Minutes approved unanimously by motion from Steve Huffman, seconded by Rob Naylor
3. Treasurer's Report (Nick)
- Financial Overview:
* First quarter financial status: Break-even
* Total district assets: $43,000+
* Scholarship fund: $5,000 allocated
* $850 in scholarships to be awarded
* Over $300 earned in scholarship fund interest
4. Board of Governors Update (Bob)
- Strategic Plan Updates:
* Membership down 40% (from 5,000 to 3,200)
* National organization implementing cost-cutting measures
* Focusing on podcast expansion and educational resources
* Introducing Spanish podcasts and new program structures
5. Technical Committee Report (Rob/Kris)
- Seeking programming ideas for remaining year
- Developing short courses in brewing and packaging
- Scholarship opportunities available for training courses
6. New Business
- Upcoming Meetings:
* May 15: Shop Talk (location TBD)
* August 13-15: National Meeting in Southern California
