    Measurement Technologies in The Brewing Industry

    Jeff will offer an overview of basic instrumentation to help automate some manual processes – flowmeters, level, analytical.  Then, he'll look at some best practice instrumentation applications and describe the science behind what makes these devices contribute – such as malt and spent grain silo measurement.  As a finale, he'll focus on the maintenance and use of flowmeters for boundaries and taxation.  He'll have a flow calibration rig on hand for a practical demonstration (contact greg.peetros@easterncontrols.com if you'd like to bring a flowmeter along to be calibrated).
