Hello District,
I received a call yesterday and wanted to share this opportunity with all of you. Please see message below and attachments. Please contact Mike with any questions as I dont know anything more.
I am working with the Gas Technology Institute on a Grant project for the California Energy Commission. They have existing grant money for the demonstration of a chiller unit that takes waste heat – say from brewing- and transforms it into refrigeration or chiller applications.
They already have the money for this but lost their demonstration site – a food processing plant in Fresno…
They need to find a new demo site for this system, or they will lose their grant money at the end of the month….
A PowerPoint Presentation on the system, and an abstract are attached.
We are looking for a larger brewery, in California that has waste heat and needs refrigeration or chiller application.
The facility would get the system installed at no cost and could keep it. GTI would need access to get data for a one-year period for the CEC study.
Do you know of anyone who would be interested.?????
This has a deadline to sign someone up of April 30 or the money goes back to the CEC… so we are in a bit of a hurry.
Would appreciate any leads here – the facility would get the free chiller system via California energy Commission and Gas technology Institute.
Contact Kaushik the Project Manger from GTI or me if you or a colleague has any interest.
Thanks,
Mike Heckathorn P.E.
