  • 1.  Biotransformation Educational event in San Diego

    Posted 05-19-2025 13:02

    Hi Everyone,

In the spirit of continued education I wanted to let everyone know about an upcoming event that the Lallemand team is hosting at Stone Brewing Liberty Station on Friday June 6th.

The event will run from 10am to 3pm, including coffee, lunch and a happy hour afterwards.  (for $20 this is the best deal in town just for the lunch and beer)

This is a half day seminar on biotransformation, complete with an interactive sensory workshop using our brand new spike kit that features individualized compounds, including two terpenes, two thiols, an esterified thiol, and a lactone.  It will also feature recent research data from OSU and Niagra college to further understand the significance of different variables in developing hop aroma in beer.

This is not a sales pitch, this is part of our BrewEd series focused on learning and the goal is to come out of this with actionable steps to improve your beers.

    Event Information and Registration

Please reach out if you have any questions!

    Cheers,

This sounds great! Will there be a webinar/online version of this available for those that can't attend?

    Hi Jacob,

This one will not be recorded, but you can find previous webinars on the subject on our youtube page.  The big new addition here is the spiked sensory workshop, which obviously has to be done in person to experience.  It's really cool, I just debuted the sensory kit with the Northwest district at their annual Hood River event and I got a lot of positive feedback about it.

I hope you can make it out!

    Cheers

    Kyle
