    Hello District SoCal folks!!

    We are very excited to bring you our Spring 2025 technical meeting, Saturday, 2/1/2025, 10am-4pm at Irwindale Brew Yard, 15801 W. 1st Street, Irwindale, CA 91706 - the old Miller Brewing brewery you see off the 210. 

    Please register HERE so we can get an accurate head count for safety purposes. 

    We will of course do a tour of the facility, so please bring closed toed shoes and long pants, and if you have it, a safety vest and bump cap. 

    We will also have a great speaker, Oliver Meinhold, talking to us about Auditing Your Brewery's CIP Processes. Oliver is the Technical Services Manager and consultant for Zee Loeffler. He studied at the University of Munich, graduating with a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Brewing Science at the Berlin Institute of Technology where he received his second Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering. He spent 7 years at the VLB (Research and Teaching Institute for Brewing in Berlin) as a Project Manager followed by 7 years at the Berlin Institute of Technology as an Assistant Professor. He has been in his current position for 12 years. He is a current member of the MBAA Higher Education Committee and the Vice-President of the MBAA-District Mid-South.     What a great meeting!!  On behalf of City Brewing and the MBAA leadership team I appreciate you attending!

    We had two left items.  Both are being kept with the Irwindale Security Office at City Brewing.  Alternatively please contact me for alternative pickups.  The City Team is spread out across LA/OC and can help return these items to you.

    • Coach glasses.  Light prescription.  I think this belongs to VN.
    • Keys.  A Subaru and Toyota.  A Blue Air Tag that I think the batteries have ran out.
    • Safety glasses that appear to be prescription.  I think these belong to a City employee but not sure.

    Please contact me directly for details.  Phone calls are welcome based on the urgency of say the keys.
