MBAA District NW is currently accepting applications for our annual scholarship.The scholarship is available to District NW members in good standing who have both been an MBAA member for
at least one (1) full year and who currently live in the district (Alaska, Oregon, or Washington).
The scholarship is awarded annually and covers the entire tuition for either:
1) one of the MBAA Full Courses (
Brewery Packaging Technology;
Brewery Maintenance Systems; or
Brewing and Malting Science). Course information is available on the
MBAA web site.
or
2) the Oregon State University
Beer Quality and Analysis Series of online and on-site courses. Course information is available on the
OSU site.
Following completion of their course, recipients should be prepared to share with the membership body how they benefited from the scholarship. This will ideally be done in person at the District NW meeting immediately following the end of the course or, if necessary, in writing or an audio or video recording.
THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION IS SEPTEMBER 30, 2022Award recipients will be announced October 21 during the District's Fall Meeting in Olympia, WA.
*Scholarships will not be awarded to the same person two years in a row.------------------------------
