  • District NY - Spring Technical Conference - 4/10/26

    District NY kindly welcomes District Philadelphia to attend their upcoming Spring Technical Conference on Friday, April 10th.

    [The meeting] will be at Culture Lab in Long Island City, Queens (same location as last year), just six subway stops on the E train from NY Penn Station for anyone taking the train up. We’re super stoked about the speaker lineup for the day:

    • Garrett Oliver: The Path of Fonio
    • Mitch Steele: The State of Today’s IPA
    • Peter Bouckaert: Wood & Beer
    • Moh SAADE of Fermentis: Strategies for optimizing production and enhancing thiol release in Lager beer and Cold IPA
    • Gregor Brower of Omega Yeast: Yeast Management Best Practices - Managing Hop Creep
    • From Concept To Craft (unlocking potential through supplier relationships): Panel led by Megan Parisi(Boston Beer) with Mike Killelea (Briess), Heather McReynolds (Hopsteiner), Josh Penney (Threes Brewing) and Molly Browning (Lallemand)

    Food will be provided, which includes breakfast and a Bloody Mary bar sponsored by Rahr/BSG and a surprise fun lunch from a well-respected Brooklyn sandwich maker.

  • District Philadelphia Fall Technical Weekend - November 7th & 8th

    Join MBAA District Philadelphia for our annual Philly Fall Technical Weekend on Saturday, November 8th from 8AM to 7PM at the Yards Brewing Company.

    Hang out with fellow brewers for a Social Hour the night before the Fall Technical Meeting!! The Social Hour will be held Friday, November 7th from 5PM to 7PM at a Mainstay Independent Brewing Company. The Social Hour is complimentary as long as you register for the Fall Technical Weekend.

    If the Social Hour the night before the conference wasn't tempting enough...there will be lunch served with beer from breweries attending the conference! We wouldn't want you to go hungry or thirsty. The day of the Fall Technical Meeting, Saturday, November 8th from Noon to 1PM, enjoy lunch and beers as benefit of registering for the Fall Technical Weekend.
