I'm interested in learning whether anyone has adopted a policy on the consumption of beer (or other alcoholic beverages) for brewery/taproom employees before or during work hours - meaning where it might impact the employee's work and/or safety of the work environment. This might be combined with a substance abuse policy but, unlike substance abuse, I anticipate it would address testing for cause (suspect behaviour or in the event of an accident or close call) and not random testing. What industry-specific resources have you found, or, have you just relied on outside subject matter experts?
