It is with a heavy heart that I inform everyone Charlie Link passed away Sunday November 19.
Charlie had been a member of MBAA District St. Louis for 62 years. A graduate of the Siebel Institute of Brewing, Charlie started his career at the Pearl Brewery in San Antonio, followed by Anheuser-Busch. He was a past president of District St. Louis and helped mould our District over the years into the vibrant community we’ve seen it become.
Please find a moment today to remember Charlie, raise a glass and toast him and his long career in the brewing industry and being part of the Master Brewers Association. He loved being a part of the brewing community and had a true passion for making great beer.
More information will be published at a later date with Schrader Funeral home, and Charlie will be laid to with a Christian burial in his home town, Peru, IL, with his parents and other Link family members.
