A BIT ABOUT ME:
I am a passionate skilled designer, planner and project manager. I have spent much of my life absorbing whatever knowledge I can get which has naturally impacted what I do every day in and out of the workplace. At this point in my career I regularly work on all types of food, beverage and industrial type projects but I have a real passion for all types of brewery design and operations projects. These are the projects where I get the opportunity to combine my career based skills with the my interests outside of the work environment.
HOW I BEGAN MY CAREER:
I spent the first eight years of my career gaining knowledge in the hands on application of building construction as a stone mason and general contractor. During this period, I was able to marry the skills I had acquired in construction with the detailed skills of design through the completion of my BS in Technology & Architecture. This allowed me to shift my career to effectively and efficiently provide facility solutions to most any application or industry.
As my skill evolved through my employment with Design Group Facility Solutions (formerly - Stahlman Group) I quickly demonstrated my value as a Facilities Planner by developing strategic facility solutions and efficient execution on a variety of projects within the food and beverage industries. This grew the trust and support I received from the DGFS team allowing me to work directly with our clients during the most critical phase of project development.
In my role, I identified a variety of client needs that were important to those I interact with. Request’s ranged from warehousing and logistics to maintaining involvement on project’s as a Project Manager. This resulted in my return to graduate school where I focused on Global Business, Operations and Project Management. This refined my education and experience by diversifying my skills and standardizing the solutions I bring to all complex project requests.
