District St. Paul-Minneapolis - Annual Golf Outing & Meeting
Friday, September 15, 2017
The annual Golf Outing is a fun filled day of getting to know your fellow members and friendly competition for players of all levels. Set on a beautiful golf course among natural wetlands, rolling terrain, elevated tees, undulating greens, and numerous strategically-placed bunkers you and your fellow district members will play on four person teams in a scramble format. A golf scramble is a format for a golf tournament that emphasizes fun without the pressure of players keeping individual scores. Each player hits a tee shot on each hole, but everyone plays from the spot of the best shot. The team with the lowest score will be awarded a prize and trophy. Additionally, prizes will be awarded for longest drive (men and women), longest putt, and closet to the pin. Lunch and a set number of beers are included with your golf registration. Specific questions should be directed to our Golf Chair, Jeff Malek, at
jmalek@rahr.com
The September meeting is being hosted at Roets Jordan Brewery. Brian Loughney of Atlas Copco will be presenting on: Avoiding Hydrocarbons in Beer. Dinner will be served afterward.
